Description

  • This product is a touch sensor that operates using capacitive touch technology and requires a DC power supply between 3V and 18V, with a maximum output current of 2A at 12V. It comes with two working modes: self-locking and jog mode, with the default setting being self-locking.
  • In self-locking mode, touching the OUT output will activate the output, and touching it again will turn off the output. In jog mode, touching the OUT output will activate the output, but it will turn off immediately when you remove your hand from the sensor.
  • The touch sensor has two power-on states: power-on boot and power-on standby. In the power-on boot state, the LED light on the sensor will turn on, and the output voltage will be equal to the power voltage. In the power-on standby state, the LED light will turn off, and the output voltage will be 0V.
  • The touch sensor can detect touch on various surfaces such as acrylic, glass, ceramic, and plastic up to a maximum sensing distance of 6mm. It can be used for controlling LED lights, external relays, power switches, and supports an external microcontroller for more advanced applications.

Applications:

  • LED light control: The touch sensor can be used to turn on/off LED lights with a simple Touch. For example, you can connect the output of the touch sensor to an LED driver, which will then control the LED lights based on the touch input.
  • External relay: The touch sensor can be used to control an external relay, which in turn can switch on/off other devices. For example, you can connect the output of the touch sensor to a relay module that controls a motor, a heater, or any other electrical device.
  • Power switch: The touch sensor can be used as a power switch to turn on/off a device with a simple touch. For example, you can connect the output of the touch sensor to a power supply that powers a computer, a TV, or any other electronic device.
  • External microcontroller support: The touch sensor can be connected to an external microcontroller such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or any other compatible board. This will allow you to program more advanced touch-based applications such as gesture control, touch-based games, and other interactive projects.

Notes:

  • When installing, please fix the module and then energize the test, do not put the power on the object, then it will not work. Placement of the outer surface of the insulating shell can not have plating, spraying metal powder paint. Placement surface to be smooth, uneven will affect the stability of the module test. Module installation and paste Do not use foam double-sided adhesive, use a thin high-temperature double-sided adhesive. quick-drying glue can be as thin as possible.
