Instructions of Use:
- Wire the module as per the defined specifications.
- The supply voltage must be within the range of 7-36V (for 10V output, the supply voltage must exceed 12V).
- Upon powering up, the D2 indicator should be illuminated; any discrepancies may signal a line connection issue.
- The module features reverse protection, preventing damage in the event of incorrect wiring polarity.
- To calibrate the module:
- With the minimum current input (0mA or 4mA), adjust the ZERO potentiometer until VOUT reaches the minimum output voltage (0.0V or another set voltage).
- With the maximum current input (20mA), adjust the SPAN potentiometer for the maximum VOUT (3.3V, 5V, or 10V; note that output could be as low as 2.5V for a 4-20mA input).
Range Selection: Choose the appropriate voltage output range by adjusting the jumper cap (J1): For 4-20mA:
- 0-2.5V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; short circuit pins 3 and 4.
- 0-3.3V: Disconnect J1 pins 1 and 2; disconnect pins 3 and 4.
- 0-5V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; short circuit pins 3 and 4.
- 0-10V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; disconnect pins 3 and 4.
For 0-20mA:
- 0-3.3V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; short circuit pins 3 and 4.
- 0-5V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; short circuit pins 3 and 4.
- 0-10V: Short circuit J1 pins 1 and 2; disconnect pins 3 and 4.
