Encoder Speed Optical Coupling Sensor Module FC-03

AED 9.45

1

Description

The Encoder speed sensor is made up of an IR LED and an IR Photodiode, which are referred to as a Photo-Coupler or Opto-Coupler. The Infrared Obstacle Sensor includes both an IR transmitter and a receiver. A light-emitting diode (LED) that emits infrared radiation is known as an infrared transmitter. The module includes two LEDs, one for a power indicator and another for a digital output indicator. The digital output will be HIGH when something is within the Sensor gap, blocking the sensor. Of course, when there is nothing in the gap, the value is LOW.

Specification:

  • Operating Voltage: 3.3V to 5VDC
  • Slot width: 5mm
  • Output Signal: Analog and Digital output
  • PCB Dimension: 3.2cm x 1.4cm

Pin-out of the Encoder speed sensor Module:

IR Speed Sensor Module Based on LM393 – QuartzComponents

  • VCC Connect to the positive 3.3V - 5V power supply
  • GND Ground
  • DO TTL switch signal output
  • AO N/A

In this video, we will make an RPM Tachometer, which helps you to check the speed of any motor. For making this you required an Arduino, OLED Display, Optical sensor, Breadboard, and a few jumper wires:
