Description

The flame sensor functions as an infrared receiver. It incorporates a comparator IC to assess the output from the infrared receiver. When the fire, flame, or any other infrared source is near the sensor, the comparator output is LOW; conversely, it's HIGH when they are distant. This module is capable of detecting flames within a 760-nanometer to 1100-nanometer wavelength range of light. It has been tested with a lighter flame at a distance of 80cm, and as the flame's size increases, it can detect flames from even greater distances. The detection angle covers approximately 60 degrees. Additionally, the module's sensitivity to the flame spectrum can be fine-tuned using an adjustable precision potentiometer.

Note: Please keep a distance from the flame, high temperature may damage the sensor module.
