Description

The board is extremely small. It employs the ESP8266 EX chip, which can operate at up to 160MHz. It has plenty of memory, including 64Kb of instruction RAM, 96Kb of data RAM, and 16MBs of flash memory for storing your programs. It includes WiFi connectivity, Over the Air updates, and other features. The D1 mini board has 11 GPIO pins as well as one analog input. Despite its small size, many shields for this board are being developed, which I think is fantastic because it allows us to easily build great Internet of Things projects! We can, of course, program this board using the Arduino IDE. The board is Arduino, MicroPython, and NodeMCU compatible, and it is the same size as the Wemos D1 Mini, but lighter. It has a 16M bytes (128M bit) Flash memory.
