Description

The LilyPad USB takes the simplicity of the LilyPad Simple to the next level by incorporating the new ATMega32U4 microcontroller, replacing the classic ATMega328. With the latest bootloader and built-in USB support, the LilyPad USB eliminates the need for an FTDI Basic, making programming hassle-free with just a micro-USB cable. Officially supported in Arduino IDE version 1.0.2 and beyond, this board is designed to make sewable projects even more straightforward, offering a JST socket for Li-Po battery connection, an on-board power switch, and integrated USB functionality.

Features:

  1. Upgraded Microcontroller: ATmega32U4 for enhanced capabilities.
  2. Digital I/O Pins: 9 (4 PWM outputs, 4 analog inputs).
  3. Resonator: 8 MHz for stable performance.
  4. Micro USB Connection: Simplifies programming and power supply.
  5. JST Connector: Allows direct connection to a 3.7V LiPo battery.
  6. Reset Button: Convenient for quick resets.
  7. No External FTDI Basic Needed: Built-in USB communication.
  8. Mouse and Keyboard Emulation: Appears as a mouse and keyboard to the connected computer.
  9. Virtual (CDC) Serial/COM Port: Enhances communication capabilities.
  10. On-Board Power Switch: Easily toggle power on/off.
  11. Rechargeable LiPo Battery: Charging through the board, eliminating the need for external chargers.
