Description

GY-45-52 MMA8452 module; digital triaxial accelerometer modules; MMA8452 )
  • MMA8452 module, high-precision tilt sensor module
  • Module Model: GY-45-52
  • Power supply :3-5v (the communication is fully compatible with the the 5v system of work)
  • Module size L * W = 14.5mm * 20.5 mm
  • Mounting hole diameter 3mm, Pitch 15mm

MMA8452Q is a smart low-power 12-bit resolution, three-axis, capacitive micromachined acceleration sensor.

This acceleration sensor with rich embedded functions with flexible user-programmable options, you can configure up to two interrupt pin. Embedded interrupt functions can save the overall power consumption, and to relieve the main processor constantly polling data burden.

MMA8452Q has ± 2g / ± 4g / ± 8g of user-selectable range, the output of the high-pass filter data and non-filtered data in real-time.

The device can be configured to use any combination of the configurable embedded functions generate inertial wake-up interrupt signal, which makes the MMA8452Q to monitor events at the same time, to maintain a low-power mode in the stationary state.

characteristic:

  • Supply voltage: 1.95 V to 3.6 V
  • Interface voltage: 1.6 V to 3.6 V
  • ± 2g / ± 4g / ± 8g dynamic ranges
  • Output data rate (ODR) range: 1.56 Hz to 800 Hz
  • Noise: 99μg / √ Hz
  • 12 And 8-bit digital output
  • I2C digital output interface (4.7 kΩ pull-up resistor, the maximum frequency of 2.25 MHz)
  • Two programmable interrupt pins for six interrupt sources
  • 3 Motion detection embedded channel
  • Freefall or motion detection: 1 channel
  • Pulse Detection: 1 channel

  • With setting the hysteresis compensation direction (horizontal / vertical) detected
  • Automatic wake-up and automatic sleep the ODR can automatically change
  • High-pass filtering the data can be output in real time
  • Self-test
  • RoHS compliant
  • Power consumption: 6 μA - 165 μA

Typical applications:

  • Electronic compass application
  • The stationary direction detection (horizontal / vertical, up / down, left / right, front / rear position identification)
  • Laptop, e-book reader and laptop drop and freefall detection
  • Real-time orientation detection (virtual reality and gaming 3D user position feedback)
  • Real-time activity analysis (pedometer step count for the HDD free fall detection, dead reckoning GPS backup)
  • Suitable for portable energy-saving products, motion detection (for mobile phone, PDA, GPS, game console auto sleep and auto wake-up)
  • Shock and vibration detection (mechatronic compensation, shipping and warranty records)
  • User interface (menu scrolling direction change, label detection for button replacement)
