FSRs are sensors that measure weight, squeezing, and physical pressure. They are reasonably priced and easy to use. The sensing zone of this sensor 402FSR is 1/2 in diameter. In essence, FSRs are resistors that change their resistance value (measured in ohms) in response to how firmly they are pushed. These sensors are user-friendly and reasonably priced, however, they are rarely accurate. They also vary slightly, perhaps by 10%, from the sensor to sensor. Therefore, you should only anticipate a range of outcomes while using FSR. FSRs are capable of sensing weight, but they are unable to quantify how many grams are there. FSRs are composed of plastic, and a sensitive substance is used to crimp the connecting tab. Simply plugging these into a breadboard or using a clamp-style connection like alligator clips, a female header, or a terminal block are the easiest ways to connect to them. You may solder onto the tabs, but you have to work quickly because if your iron is poor quality or you take even a few moments to hesitate, the plastic will melt and the FSR will be ruined. If you aren't 100 percent certain you have the necessary abilities, don't try to solder straight to your FSR.
