How the Digital Thermostat Module Model XH-W1401 works:

  • Start Indicator Light: The START (red) light indicates when the relay is closed, signifying that the device has commenced operation.
  • Stop Indicator Light: The STOP (green) light indicates when the relay is off, indicating that the device has ceased operation.
  • Screen Display: The middle red number on the screen displays the detected temperature. The left green number represents the set start temperature, while the right green number indicates the set stop temperature. Arrows (up or down) are used to adjust the temperature settings.

Modes of Operation:

  • High-Temperature Start - Cooling Mode:

    • In this mode, set the start temperature higher than the stop temperature. When the detected temperature exceeds the start temperature, the relay closes, activating the cooling equipment. Conversely, when the detected temperature falls below the stop temperature, the relay switches off, halting the cooling equipment.
    • For example: If the start temperature is set at 30°C and the stop temperature at 25°C, the relay closes and the START indicator (red) light illuminates when the detected temperature reaches or exceeds 30°C. Conversely, when the detected temperature drops to or below 25°C, the relay switches off, and the STOP indicator (green) light illuminates.

  • Low-Temperature Start - Heating Mode:

    • In this mode, set the start temperature lower than the stop temperature. When the detected temperature falls to or below the start temperature, the relay closes, activating the heating equipment. When the detected temperature rises to or exceeds the stop temperature, the relay switches off, halting the heating equipment.
    • For example: If the start temperature is set at 25°C and the stop temperature at 30°C, the relay closes and the START indicator (red) light illuminates when the detected temperature falls to or below 25°C. Conversely, when the detected temperature reaches or exceeds 30°C, the relay switches off, and the STOP indicator (green) light illuminates.
